Blue Diamond Slate Overview:

• Material Composition: Blue Diamond slates are crafted from a blend of synthetic and cellulose fibers, along with Ordinary Portland cement (OPC). They are fully compressed and acrylic-coated.

• Warranty: Covered by a 30-year structural warranty and a 20-year color guarantee, in alignment with the manufacturer’s original warranty, accessible on the website.

• High Standards: Manufactured to meet rigorous industry standards and specifications, ensuring durability against the harsh Irish climate. The superior diamond-hard smooth finish enhances the aesthetics of any structure, complementing brick, stone, cement, or wood facades.

• Color Process: Utilizes a process of coloring through the base, concentrating dense color pigment on the slate surface before final coating, resulting in a superior homogeneous slate.

Technical Specifications:

• Fixings: Pre-drilled with three holes.
• Minimum Rafter Pitch: 20 degrees, laid to 1000m Lap (moderate to severe exposure).
• Density: Average density of 1700kg/m3 when tested to BS 4265; section 14.
• Frost Test: Endures 100 freeze-thaw cycles in accordance with BS EN 492:1994.
• Tolerances: Compliant with BS EN 492:1994. Length or width tolerances are ±3.00mm, while thickness is +1.00mm/-0.4mm.
• Fire Ratings: Non-combustible, conforming to Fire BS 276 Part 4 for fiber cement slates.
• Dimensions: Thickness of 4.0mm, length of 600mm, and width options of 300mm and 600mm.
• Frost Resistance: Meets standards outlined in BS. EN 492 draft, 10/92.

Delivery 

• Delivery is just €5.99 up to 5kg throughout the Republic of Ireland.
  
• For parcels 5kg-25kg, delivery is €9
• For larger parcels weighing over 25kg, delivery starts at €20.
  

Click and Collect

We also operate a click and collect service from our Lerhin premises at H53K6X8. If you want to collect your order, simply choose the Collect option at Checkout. A member of our team will then email you to advise you on when your order will be available for collection.

Collection is only available during store opening hours (Monday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm and closed on Sundays and bank holidays).
